Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description CHRYSALIS TREATMENT COORDINATOR POSITION DESCRIPTION The Chrysalis Treatment Coordinator is our house parent at our moderate residential home and is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of residents' individual treatment plan and the implementation of Chrysalis Behavioral Management Procedures and Guidelines.
She meets with new residents to the program providing them with the Client Handbook, reviewing house guidelines, level system, allowances, code of conduct, dress code, general school information, rules regarding extracurricular activities, behavior management policies procedures and guidelines, grievance procedures and client rights.
She is responsible for orienting new clients to the program and assisting in their initial and ongoing adjustment issues.
Specific duties are as follows:
Assist the Program Supervisor in evaluating Treatment Specialists, Relief and Weekend staff.
Make recommendations to the Executive Director concerning personnel issues including annual raises for subordinates Document performance in periodic personnel evaluations (as outlined in Personnel Policies and Procedures) Provide documentation to the Executive Director of progress in areas of performance deficiency for any employees who are on a performance improvement plan Oversees the home's day-to-day operations regarding the residents' level system, behavior management programs, and Individual Treatment Plan Makes out menus and grocery shops.
Oversees Menu Preparation, Special Diets all issues associated with Chrysalis food and nutrition procedures Schedules appropriate educational, recreational, social, and spiritual activities as outlined in Chrysalis Policies and Procedures ISP and Minimum Standards Provides first approval of all weekend or weeknight plans for visitation away from Chrysalis.
Contacts and meets with DHR social workers as needed Assists in the planning and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans Consults with and serves as liaison with school personnel Screens referrals and works with the treatment team to determine admissions and/or discharges Assists the Program Supervisor in scheduling Weekend Relief Staff and coverage for vacation and sick leave Schedules and transports residents to appointments.
Picks up residents from school Maintains responsibility for grounds upkeep, maintenance of equipment, and overall appearance of the Home Conducts fire and tornado drills at least one time every three months.
Establishes and reviews with residents the emergency plan in the event of an intruder Meets with the Executive Director and Program Supervisor at least once every two weeks to review goals and each resident's Individual Treatment Plan Remains on call after normal working hours to assist in proper management of the home Functions as a member of the Management Team to consult regarding referrals and placement of residents.
Provides input concerning appropriateness of a referral based on the child's performance during pre-placement visit.
Coordinates pre-placement visit and participates in discussions concerning acceptance or rejection of referred residents EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED2.
Child development training and experience as outlined in Minimum Standards3.
Physical health adequate to participate in activities with youth and4.
Minimum age of twenty-one SALARY RANGE:
The salary starts at $35,568 per year.
The House Parent is a salaried employee living at the house for a period of 5-6 days in a row then off for 5-7 days.
