Job Description:
A local, family owned, manufacturing company is looking for a Customer Service Representative.
The Customer Service Representative will need to be reliable and highly motivated with a knack for phone sales and solid people skills.
In our sales office, the majority of sales will be handled in the office via the telephone or through our online store, but the sales representative will also need to communicate effectively through various modes of communication.
The successful candidate will need to have our core values, clerical/computer skills, conscientiousness, and the ability to multi-task.
Technical skills will be a bonus as the sales representative will help customers to solve technical issues.

Responsibilities:
Answer customer service calls.
This includes routing calls, taking messages, taking orders, giving verbal quotes, answering technical questions, etc.
Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships Focuses sales efforts by studying existing products, informational guides, and customer accounts Typing professional emails and letters to current and potential customers Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature Data entry of quotes, sales order, invoices, etc.
Proofreading of invoice and sales orders for accuracy Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Creating and maintaining accurate notes on customer accounts Enter and update customer information in our computer system Reach out to customer leads through cold/warm calling Reports which include but not limited to sales, inventory, and marketing data Packaging parts orders for shipment Serve as a backup for the shipping clerk All other tasks deemed necessary Required skills:
Minimum 2 years of inside sales/ telephone customer service Strong customer service skills along with the ability to answer technical questions and resolve customer issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills - typing, email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Email etiquette/ letter writing ability - the ability to properly write a business email with a greeting, body, and salutation.
